Financial Peace University Class Scheduled
Take control of your financial situation. To you that might mean: restoring hope, preparing for the future or just need help escaping the seemingly endless cycle of living paycheck to paycheck.
We have scheduled our next class start date for Wednesday August 6th, 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

Sea-to-Sea 2008 - Ending the Cycle of Poverty
There are no easy answers or quick fixes when it comes to addressing the cycle of poverty. But that’s no reason to ignore it. The complex economic, social and spiritual issues related to poverty demand a comprehensive and multi-pronged response.
Through its agencies and partners, the Christian Reformed Church is walking with the poor, seeking to fulfill God’s call to defend the cause of the weak and fatherless and stand up for the rights of the oppressed (Psalm 82).
The Sea to Sea 2008 Bike Tour serves as a way to further enable the Church to respond to that call. Individuals, groups and congregations are encouraged to get active in serving the poor in some new way, whether in your own community or half a world away.
Funds generated through the tour will be used to support new or ongoing CRC initiatives in three areas of development (business, community and leadership)—each one ending the cycle of poverty for individuals, families and communities in places all over the world.
The bike tour is comprised of 3 segments starting in Seattle, WA and ending in Jersy City, NJ. Riders are required to raise $4,000.00 a segment unless they wanted to ride all 3 segments which is $10,000.00. Calvary has 3 riders riding all 3 segments which means they need to raise $30,000.00.

Support them financially and through prayer as they speak to area churches and for safety during their training and tour. Tell your friends to help out as well.
